She has an Associate’s Degree from Ohio Business College. Besides Gage, she is also mom to 3 Chihuahuas, Rodeo, Remy and Asher. From her years of experience at Landings, Cindy is a wealth of knowledge on follow up care for post-surgery and sick patients. • Alex
This is Alex. She attends Rocky River High School and began working at Landings Animal Hospital in August of 2015. She plans on attending Bowling Green University to study Marketing/Business. Her pets include a mini Labradoodle named Harper and a horse, Honey, that she both rides and shows English Dressage and Jumping. In addition to school and work at Landings, Alex also works at a daycare center. She plays tennis and loves music! Alex loves working with the animals at Landings – they’re always doing something funny that makes her laugh. She especially likes getting to know the ‘regular’ dog and cat boarders that come in. She feels like they are an extension of her pet family.
  • Amanda
This is Amanda and her rescue dog Cali. Amanda attends Avon Lake High School and plans on attending Ohio State University to study Veterinary Medicine. She has been working at Landings since March, 2016. In addition to Cali, her pet family includes Momma Kitty (the name comes from the fact that she was rescued with a litter of kittens) and Pudge the Guinea pig (who also lives up to his name). Amanda doesn’t have much spare time because she keeps busy with photography, tennis, and horseback riding. She is also very involved in mission work which she loves because it allows her to meet people from all walks of life and share stories and experiences with them. Amanda says it is hard to say when she comes to work, who is happier – she to see the animals or they to see her! They all have unique personalities and she enjoys getting to know them.
  • Ann
This is Faith. She belongs to Anne, who has been involved with Landings Animal Hospital since 1997. Many of you may know her from her Puppy Pre-School classes. She is a C.P.T. who graduated from the National K-9 School of Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. Anne has been training dogs most of her life and decided to turn her love of dogs into a professional career, both with Landings and with her training programs. Anne takes great satisfaction in teaching people to better understand their pets. The best outcome for her is in knowing that the pet will be happier as a result of that understanding. You can learn more about Anne’s training programs at her website www.LeadWithFaithDogTraining.com.
  • Genevieve
This is Genevieve. She is from Elyria and has been with Landings since the Fall of 2016. Eve has an adult son with special needs who keeps her on her toes. She has a cat named Midnight, whose mother abandoned her as a kitten on Eve’s doorstep. Eve brought her in out of the cold and Midnight has been a member of the family ever since. Eve enjoys that she has the opportunity to play with the pets at Landings and likes that as the result of the cleanups and baths she gives, she can send dogs home smelling good and looking spiffy!
  • Kristie
This is Kristie. She is from Avon Lake, attends Avon Lake High School and has been working at Landings Animal Hospital since June of 2016. Kristie says she gets her love of animals from her mom which is why her family consists of many ‘fur babies’. Those fur babies include a Sheltie (her first dog), two cats, a rabbit, a hamster and a fish. Kristie is involved in Student Council, volunteering at the Cleveland APL, Key Club, lacrosse and soccer. She adores animals and plans on attending college to study Veterinary Medicine, so she looks at her work at Landings as a great learning experience.
  • Polly
This is Polly and her Australian Cattle dog Sid. Polly has worked at the Landings Animal Hospital since the Spring of 2013. She is originally from Cincinnati but has lived in Avon Lake with her family for over 30 years. She has a degree from Ohio State University in Wildlife Management. Her original plan was to become a veterinarian so this job is as close to that as she’s going to get at her age! Polly also has a cat Matilda, a sugar glider Libby, a turtle Kyle, and chickens at home. She loves that she’s around dogs and cats at work, but it’s the people connections that she enjoys the most.
